Hi everyone. Hope everyone and everything are going good. After sharing five to six technical information into my blog, I just thought of sharing something non-technical and memorable too. As the topic about 90’s kids become viral these days. Being a 90’s kid i would like to share my own memories which might matches with some of other 90’s kids too.
Yup let me start off with games, cherished moments of holidays, weekends, everyday evenings spent by me. I still remember of playing some indoor games like carom, chess, trump cards, snake & ludo; and business, funny games with songs and so on. Outdoor games played with my friends always been very special during childhood days, like seven stones, 1 2 3 chocolate, east or west, running race, hour cycle, shuttle, lock and key, catcher, hide and seek, and so on. Meanwhile some silly fights with my friends shares n number of stuffs to remember these days. We don’t have any age bar when we are playing, so this makes 90’s kids still remain the same so far. We don’t even bother about gender and we all play cricket too.
Another important and happiest part of us is snacks we ate during our childhood days. Even now I feel the running saliva while I’m recalling those yummy foods. It includes squeezit, jelly candies, corn, sugar candies, lollipop candy, jeera candy, hajmola, bytes, lays, kurkure, ball ice cream (remains a dream ice cream for the kids those days); biscuits with portrait of our favorite television shows, pepsi packet with different flavors, roadside ice cream like stick ice, chocolate glaze on stick, assay chocolate, mango bite, lacto king, alpenliebe, caramilk, milky bar, cup ice, cola tin, penny sweets, rol.a.cola candy, 50-50 biscuits (still rules the heart of 2k kids too), orange candy, coin type candy remains the treasure of 90’s kids. Let’s look into some video games we use to play daily. During vacation we and our cousins meet up in our grandma house to enjoy it thoroughly. Where we allot ourselves an hour to play video games still remains golden memories for us. In video games we have multiple things to play, but most favorite will be Mario (saving the princess, those dragon fight, that single jump, and sharing joysticks), car race (I still remember I use to keep alarm around 3 a.m. and wake up just to play these games), javelin throw, duck hunt (the smile the dog does when we lose the shot), battle city, bubble bobble, and so on. I use to visit nearby computer center to play games like Mortal kombat (Sonya always remains my favorite).
Most favorite TV channels are CN (Cartoon network, JETIX, Disney world, hungama, Chutti TV, Pogo, Vijay TV, SS music and so on). Most favorite shows, Power rangers (mystic force and S.P.D especially), Tarzan, George of the jungle, Tom and Jerry, Popeye the sailor man, mickey mouse and his friends, Looney tunes show, Agadam bagdam tigadam, Vicky and vedal, Mr. Bean (both the animated series and his shows), sunaina, M.A.D, heart attack, goose bumps, sakthimaan, my dear bootham, powerpuffs girls, max, Johnny Bravo, pink panther, Dexter laboratory, heidi, courage the cowardly dog, Casper, Scooby doo, Jackie Chan, Dora, E-man, cedric, Stuart little animated series, timon and pumbaa, Jenmam xxx, spider man, flint stones, Aladdin, Balin, Bandalero, kid vs. kat, Kanna kanum kalangal (school days), small wonder, Jodi, Maya machindra, coffee with DD, office, kadavul pathi mirugam pathi, connexions, vijay awards, and so on.
Movies we enjoyed those days are, baby’s day out; George of the jungle; home alone, incredible; honey I blew up the kid; honey I shrunk the kids; robin hood; city hunter; pirates of the Caribbean; finding nemo; n number of Jackie Chan movies (still you remain my hero Sir), police story; ghost rider; mummy returns; 2012, and so on.
Some horror Tamil movies still rules the 90’s kids are Amman (The villain Chanda and bgm which gives same fear even these days); Sivi, Visil (naga character), Yaar, Jagan mohini (skeletal comedy), and so on.
So once we started talking about 90’s kids cherished moments, it continues to infinity. I end up here; these words will surely touches each and everyone’s memories while reading. And I’m really feeling glad to choose this topic and share my own words about 90’s kids. Enjoy reading it.
