Piece of Information: WOW!

Updated: Jul 28, 2021

Hi. Good day. Hope everyone is doing good. This time I would like to share collection of information about politician, novel author, and scientist. I got inspired from a piece of article shared. After reading it, I thought of sharing it with you all. I guess it will be engaging and quite interesting too.

ADOLF HILTER

What comes to your mind when we hear about him? According to me I can bring up following information about him as he was an Austrian-born German politician who was the dictator of Germany from 1933 to 1945. He was also head of Nazi party. When we look into his character, he was considered to be anti-social (action that harm others without considering the well-being of them), sadistic (cruel and cold-blooded), narcissistic personality disorders (symptoms like person behaves arrogantly, being selfish, demanding nature and excessive need of admiration), and distinct traits of posttraumatic stress disorder (psychiatric disorder that may occur in people who have experienced or witnessed a hurtful events).

But in addition to that, Hilter had weird habit of breaking down the furniture’s. Whenever he loses his control or felt emotional, he used to punch the table hardly even the glass on the table gets shattered. Hilter also suffered from severe stomachache until he dies. While he was discussing among political party in order to avoid stomachache, he used to take pills regularly. While having private discussion among political party members or any person, they even witnessed Hilter breaking down the glass table placed before him when he suffered from unbearable stomachache.

Though it seems strange, but it is true!

JAWAHARLAL NEHRU

When we hear about Nehru, the first thing come to our mind is Children’s Day (especially for 90’s kids). He was born on November 14 (1889). He was known to be a good teacher. Also, he was the first Indian Prime Minister and served as Foreign Minister of India. Nehru was famous for implementing various social reforms which leads to initial changes in society’s political and economic system.

In addition to that I would like to add a short story about Nehru during his college days. When Nehru was pursuing his degree in college, Nehru’s father Motilal used to send packet money for his son on weekly basis. At one time, Nehru wrote letter to his father asking for extra money in the same week. Motilal lost his patience, so he wrote back a letter to Nehru and asked him to submit complete details about money spent which was sent already. The response letter sent by Nehru to his father made him speechless. The letter reads as follow: Dear father, if you would have enough trust on me you wouldn’t have asked about the details. Though I send that information, it would be useless because you don’t trust me from the beginning. After reading this, Motilal felt bad for not trusting his son and sent the money to his son as requested.

Father is always a FATHER! The one who be too strict towards us. Also, the one who loves us unconditionally.

CHARLES DICKENS

May be this name is quite new to all. Who was Dickens? His full name was Charles John Huffam Dickens FRSA. He was an English writer and social critic, born on 7th February 1812 and died at 9th June 1870. He was known for his fictional characters and great novelist among Victorian era (period of Queen Victoria's reign, from 20 June 1837 until her death on 22 January 1901). His most famous novels were Oliver Twist, A Christmas Carol, Nicholas Nickleby, David Copperfield, A Tale of Two Cities and Great Expectations.

Dickens whenever he started writing a novel, he would get involved deeply. Because of that, he has the habit of reading the lines again which he wrote and react to it often. For example, if he was writing any comedy fictional, he used to laugh aloud by reading those lines again and again. If he was writing any emotional fictional, he used to cry continuously by reading those lines.

His famous novel, “David Copperfield” was written by him from his personal experience. Even after 150 years people who read those emotional lines still feel the same pain of Dickens.

Often broken person will become a great poet!

LOUIS PASTEUR

As the term immunity and vaccine is been viral these days because of Covid. The one who first invented vaccine was Pasteur. He did major study based on diseases caused by germs.

Pasteur was one of the French chemists and microbiologist who was born on December 27, 1822 and died on September 28, 1895. He was considered to be one of the important founders of medical microbiology. He was called as Father of Immunology.

He invented different vaccines which was used to prevent from Typhoid (disease caused by bacteria Salmonella typhi. It leads to high fever, diarrhea, and vomiting), Typhus (disease caused by rickettsia or orientia bacteria. This disease is not seen in these days due to good hygienic environment), Diphtheria (a serious infection caused by strains of bacteria called Corynebacterium diphtheriae that make toxin. It leads to breathing difficulty, heart failure, paralysis, and even death), Influenza (a viral infection that attacks your respiratory system), and Rabies (a deadly virus spread to people from the saliva of infected animals).

I will add on a short story about Pasteur and reason behind his invention. As per study, Pasteur has five children. Out of them, his three children were died because of Typhoid. So, this loss stimulated him to do research about germs which causes these deadly diseases. After many researches, he came to know microbes are the birthplace of these diseases. So, he decided to find vaccines which were used to kill and fight against these microbes.

Though term COVID is new to us. Virus and Bacteria is not new to us. We will fight against this virus for sure by taking vaccine!

LOUIS BRAILLE

Have you ever heard about him. Louis was considered to be very special person. Because of his invention blind people able to get educated easily. Yes, he was the inventor of Braille (system of reading and writing) to be used by the visually impaired people. He was born on 4 January 1809 and died on 6 January 1852 due to Tuberculosis.

Louis was not blind from his birth. At the age of three, Louis right eye was affected by punch needle while playing. He lost his vision in right eye. Eventually his left eye also infected, and he became blind at the age of five.

Louis father uses a slate/stylus (a small, mechanical device used for writing braille by hand. It consists of small handle made of wood or plastic with a sharp metal point) to teach his son. At first blind people used 12 dots punch braille board. Later, Louis invented 6 dots punch braille board. He called it as braille writing. He also been part of creating Type writing machine for blind people.

Light is seen in the darkness!

CHHATRAPATI SHIVAJI MAHARAJ

I guess this person doesn’t need big introduction. Shivaji was the Indian ruler and member of Bhonsle Maratha clan. He was the founder of Maratha empire and King of Maratha. He was considered to be one of the greatest warriors of those times.

Unrevealed side of Shivaji was, he used to love his pets (horses and Dog) unconditionally. He loved and respected his horses because it saved him from death during wars. He also followed the method of eating his meals only after feeding his dog.

After his death, his body was set on fire. Seeing this, Shivaji’ s dog jumped into the fire and died along with his master’s body. Even Shivaji’ s horses were not able to bear the absence of his master, so it died eventually after few days.

Pet’s love and loyalty are incredible!

I stop here and come up with new information soon. :)
