Hi, guys. After a while I would like to share new info into my blog. As we all started 2020 with many wishes; dreams; and so on. Unfortunately, we all held back because of Covid. Still we are trying our best to fight against the pandemic and some what started our routine lifestyle. Though the fear of spreading Covid rate is high we are managing it well and haven’t given up so far.
During quarantine, I started watching series where I can engage myself to get rid of reality. At first, I started watching series filled with romance (kind of fairytale) but slowly I got bored watching out stories filled with lovey-dovey. So, I started watching series filled with suspense, thriller, ghost haunt, serial murder case study, and so on. By watching suspense series continuously, I got inspired and started to research about real life case studies. My last blog about serial killer is just the impact of the series I watched so far.
So, in this blog I would like to share collection of information I gathered while I was searching for interesting case studies which was kept hidden.
Karmanasa River
Have you guys heard about this river. If not just scroll down to read. As we all have the belief that river Ganga and Yamuna as holy river. Just touching the water from it can wash away our sins. But there was another river called Karmanasa. It is considered/ believed to be the cursed river. From the name KARMA, it talks about deeds (bad) which brings absolute bad luck and touching the water from this river can wash away all our good deeds. This river flows through the heart of Bihar in India. The river is in Kaimur district of Bihar and flows through Indian states of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
The river is believed to be more poisonous than snake venom. The name KARMANASA is defined as KARMA (deeds) and NASA (destroy). Also, people believed that this river is unique from other rivers, since it is made up of saliva instead of water. Two different tales was discussed about how river Karmanasa was created.
During ancient times, there lived a king called Trishanku, who was willing to reach heaven alive. He even tried to manipulate Rishi Vishvamitra. Finally, Rishi agreed to his wish and used his power to send him alive to heaven. But King of heaven Indra stopped him half a way (mid-air) and refused to fulfill his wish. Since it is against law. So, King Trishanku got stuck in the mid-air upside down. Unfortunately, he couldn’t reach back earth as it will affect the pride of Rishi. So, he got held up in midway, and because of that saliva started to flow out from his mouth and results in formation of Karmanasa river.
There was another story behind river Karmanasa. In this Rishi Vishvamitra received a power from Tapasya (from the root word 'tapa' in Sanskrit meaning to heat or burn) and decided to create new universe. This creation was opposed by King of Heaven Indra. But Rishi, doesn’t bothered about Indra’s opposition and created a copy of existing universe along with people. He also decided to send Trishanku to the universe (newly created) and asked him to rule the universe. But Trishanku was stopped mid-way by Indra (King of Heaven) and ended up in the mid-air upside down. Because of that saliva started to flow out from his mouth and results in formation of Karmanasa river.
People living near the shore of the river survive just by eating fruits; nuts; raw vegetables; and completely avoid cooking since it requires water. If the river touches any of the tree, the tree dies within 24 hrs. Something which was left unnoticed is that, the river flows from Bihar and finally joins the river Ganga (holy river). No one talk about this. So, considering this river as cursed is up to once’s attitude or perceptions/beliefs. Conclusion left unknown.

The Girl In The Bathroom
This incident occurred in Japan. According to the study, there was a little girl called Hanako-san who lived in Japan. It was believed that she was died during World War II. While that little girl was using the bathroom in the school, during that time bomb fell on top of the building (school). The school got collapsed and the girl got trapped inside the bathroom itself.
There was a talk that, even today we can find that girl if we go to the girl’s bathroom which is in third floor of the building or even walk towards the third floor, we can find her. As per Japanese people confession, she was a girl with hand full of blood and find a lizard next to her which waits to eat prey quickly. The girl was wearing a red skirt and has bob haircut. If we try knocking the door of the bathroom three times and call her name, we can find her inside the bathroom. She was either looking for a person to play with her or else she might drag you to hell.
This kind of stories was popular among people who was living in the urban areas of Japan around 70 years ago. Still people believe in the existence of Hanako – San. Kuldhara—the ghost village
There was a village called Kuldhara which is around 18 kilometers from the southwest of Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. According to the study, this village was completely abandoned and considered to be the ghost village from 19th century. The village was filled with ruined sandstone houses and road full of dusts. It is certainly believed to be the cursed village which has dark secret behind it.
Some 300 years ago, the village Kuldhara was been a prosperous village and it was occupied by Paliwal Brahmins. As per study, there lived a person called Salim Singh who was a powerful Prime Minister. He fell in love with the daughter of the village head and decided to marry her. But the village head opposed the decision of Salim and refused the marriage proposal from Salim.
Salim used all his power to make the village head accepts his proposal of marrying his daughter. He imposed huge tax to all the people living in the village. As Paliwal Brahmins, was not ready to accept this marriage and they held a meeting among their council and decided to leave the village. Though decision of leaving the village was taken by people (Paliwal Brahmins), they still felt bad for vacating the place which was a place where their ancestors lived years ago. Before leaving, they all together cursed the village saying that, no other people can try living in this village or settling hereafter. Around 1500 people were disappeared from the village.
From that day till now, villages in Kuldhara remain barren ((of land) too poor to produce much or any vegetation); empty with ruined sand houses, dirty roads. No people tried living or restarting life over there. Even some people try to stay there after sunlight, they will be dragged out of the village and happen to here weird sounds; see scary appearances (shadow) over there.
Now this place is treated as tourist spot and is under the control of Archaeological Survey of India which is maintained as heritage town (preserved by Indian government). Till today, after sunset people living near the Kuldhara village will close the gate of Kuldhara. Because people still believe that after sunset, they will be high possibility of paranormal activities (wandering of scary spirits). Also, there was a temple in Kuldhara village which is renovated and still stands in between the ruined houses. Even Rajasthan government is working in the process of bringing life to the village and trying to reconstruct it.
